Regional Meetings of Parish Councils

During the month of May, Bishop Paul intends to meet with all the Parish Pastoral Councils
in the Diocese. The Bishop is aware of the valuable contributions that they make to Parish
life and their important role into the future.
These meetings will be held on Tuesday 14 th , Wednesday 15 th and Thursday 16 th May and will
be facilitated by Martin Kennedy, who guided us through the Diocesan Assembly.
It is envisaged that there will be robust discussions around the role of Pastoral Councils into the future.

-Athlone Deanery will meet in the Parish Hall, Ballinahown on Tuesday 14 th May from
7.30pm-9pm.

-Carrick-on-Shannon Deanery will meet in St Joseph’s Hall, Leitrim Village on
Wednesday 15 th May from 7.30pm-9pm

-Longford and Granard Deaneries will meet in
the Community Centre, Edgeworthstown on Thursday evening 16 th May from 7.30pm-9pm.
