AC Youth in Taize

Back in November 2017, a series of 4 meetings were held in the 4 deaneries of the Diocese of Ardagh and Clonmacnois. It sought to canvass and address the ideas and concerns of  young people in our diocese. One of the proposals born of it was that of Pilgrimage and giving young people the opportunity to deepen their faith and make positive connections with their peers on pilgrimage. An opportunity came to partner with a long-established group from the diocese of Killaloe under the care of Offaly man Fr. Gerry Carey. A group of over 30 was formed quickly which took in Taize, also the Irish College in Parish on the Rue Des Irlandais near the Sorbonne in the Latin Quarter of Paris and of course a more recent arrival to France…. EuroDisney… The group are grateful to their leaders and all who helped enabled this pilgrimage from our Diocese.
