The Diocese of Ardagh and Clonmacnois is delighted to invite the faithful to the Inaugural Mass of the new Diocesan Adoration Apostolate.
The Mass will be celebrated by Most Rev. Paul Connell, Bishop of Ardagh and Clonmacnois, in St Mary’s Church, Rathowen, on Monday, 21 September at 7.30pm.
This special celebration marks a new beginning in the further promotion and support of Eucharistic Adoration throughout the Diocese. Eucharistic Adoration is already a valued part of the spiritual life of many of our parishes, providing an opportunity to spend quiet time in the presence of Christ and to deepen our relationship with Him.
The establishment of the Diocesan Adoration Apostolate seeks to encourage and support this devotion across our parishes and to help more people discover the gift of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament.
We warmly encourage clergy, parishioners, those already involved in Eucharistic Adoration, and anyone who would like to learn more about this beautiful form of prayer to join us for this important occasion.
