The Annual Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock will take place this year on Sunday 2nd September . The ceremonies will begin with the Anointing of the Sick at 2:30p.m. followed by Concelebrated Mass with Msgr. Bernard Noonan as chief celebrant and the homily delivered by Fr. Michael McGrath. The ceremonies will conclude with the Rosary Procession and Benediction.
Longford Area Bus A bus is being organised from outside O’Hara’s Main Street, Granard at 10:30a.m. outisde Parker Carpet Limited, Edgeworthstown at 10:45a.m., Heaton’s Ballymahon Street, Longford at 11a.m. and the Parish Hall opposite Old Convent Lanesborough at 11:20a.m. hoping to arrive in Knock at 1p.m. (approx). the return fare on the bus will be €10.
