Wednesday July 25th saw the last of 4 Wednesday night gatherings in the St. Ciaran’s Pastoral Area ( Parishes of Ferbane/Leamonaghan/Clonmacnois/Cloghan & Banagher). The theme was “forgiveness” and it wove short pieces of scripture with extracts from the writings of Pope Francis including the artwork of local schoolchildren. A group of the Communicants of last May lead us in prayer… looking very colourful and tanned and growing (!) since school closed for the holidays. A total of 153 locals are booked to go to the Phoenix Park Mass on August 26th in exactly one month time!
