    Shannonside Radio will broadcast Mass every Sunday at 10.00am (including St Patrick’s Day) from St Mel’s Cathedral, Longford. This will continue for the duration of the restrictions. Online at or through the Radio Player App.

    Frequencies are (104.1FM but also Boyle, Roscommon – 95.7 FM Central Leitrim & NW Cavan – 97.2 FM Roscommon Long’d S Leitrim – 104.1 FM West Roscommon – 104.6 FM


    St. Mel’s Cathedral, Longford Mass will be available by webcam at Saint Mel’s Cathedral and Crossan Cable channel 84 each day – 8.00am, 10.00am weekdays, 7.30pm Saturday, and 8.00am, 10.00am, 11.30am and 1.00pm on Sundays.

    St. Mary’s Church Granard Mass will be celebrated Monday to Saturday morning 930 am. Saturday evening 8;30 Sunday morning 11:30 am. Stations of the cross every Thursday evening 730.

    Knock Shrine – Mass will be broadcast online on their website at 12.00 noon and 7.30pm (commencing with Rosary at 7.00pm) daily. 

    Vatican Television – Pope Francis has arranged for his celebration of Mass to be televised from the Vatican at 6.00am Irish time (7.00am Italian time).  The broadcast is simultaneously translated into the English language.  For access please link to

    Radio Maria Ireland

    Radio Maria Ireland facilitates the broadcast of Mass each day of the week at 10.00am from its studios in Dublin.  Mass can be listened to in four different ways:

    –          on the digital terrestrial television channel Saorview, on channel 210

    –          on the Radio Maria Ireland mobile app, and,

    –          on the Radio Maria-Ireland Facebook page.

    Eternal Word Television Network is a Catholic television station which broadcasts from the USA programmes some of which are produced or presented by Irish priests and religious, including daily Mass.  EWTN is available on Sky tv and free to view online:
