The Diocese of Ardagh and Clonmacnoise joins with the parish communities of Annaduff, Drumsna and beyond in celebrating the Golden Jubilee of Fr Frank Garvey and Fr Cathal Faughnan, who mark fifty years of priestly ministry since their ordination in 1976.
A special Mass of Thanksgiving was celebrated in St Mary’s Church, Annaduff, bringing together family, friends, parishioners and fellow clergy to give thanks for the faithful service of both priests over the past five decades.
Throughout their years of ministry, Fr Frank and Fr Cathal have served God’s people with dedication, generosity and compassion. Their commitment to parish life, pastoral care and the proclamation of the Gospel has enriched countless lives and strengthened the faith of many communities.
The Jubilee celebrations provided a fitting opportunity to reflect on the blessings of their priesthood and to acknowledge the significant contribution both men have made to the life of the Church.
