Feast of the #Transfiguration.
40th anniversary of the death of Blessed Pope Paul VI. ‘The pilgrim pope’. Who did so much in times of turbulence to keep things in balance. At his funeral a simple coffin placed flat on the ground as he instructed. A gentle breeze sifting the pages of the open Book of the Gospels placed upon it. Set to be canonized in October as patron saint of the unborn child. ‘The world in which we live needs beauty in order not to sink into despair ‘.
