150th Anniversary: Thanksgiving Mass for Pastoral Care Groups

Mass of Thanksgiving for those who, by their voluntary work and prayer, offer so much to the life of the parish;, thereby living out their Christian calling.
Readings:
Isaiah 61:1-3 ('He has sent me to bring the good news to the poor'); James 2:14-20 ('faith without good deeds is useless'); Mt. 25:31-40 ('In so far as you did this to one of the least of these, you did it to me').
Brian O'Reilly (Society of Saint Vincent de Paul) spoke powerfully and spiritually about the importance of pastoral work for the life of the parish and its importance in today's world.
We were joined by Fr Joe Jones from Dublin, who signed the Mass for the Deaf Club.
Our choir for the evening were children of Scoil na gCeithre Máistrí and their teacher Anita.
A Prayer Card, specifically printed for the occasion was distributed to everyone in the congregation.

Some of the less blurry pictures of the congregation. Maybe Fr Murray might invest in a good Parish Camera.
And, while he's at it, maybe a Parish photographer!
